Just noticed something in that goalkickers list... Have you been playing Pav at FF Scooty? I know for our games he was CHF, but if he's been CHF all season, or even some of it, it's remarkable you have that many goals with him! Certainly no other CHF comes close even remotely close.

Looks like Stakerz is giving me 4th spot, so I need to figure out how to counter that bloody Sandilands -> Centre Clearance -> Pavlich move.
 
Mahama he played FF for the majority of the year, due to his awesome contested marking. The last 5 or so games however, i moved him to CHF so i could utilise his massive kick frm 55, 60m which i couldnt make the distance with Jack Anthony. So he didnt score many of his goals as a true CHF

The eagles finally have a win on board albeit in the mock collingwood game, but a win is a win. Look out with. Bit of momentum behind anything could happen.....lol

After a massive 26 point lead to the eagles at 1/4 time the pies started to click with and kicked 7 in a row with goals to jolly, Thomas and cloke. Putting them in front coming into the last stanza.
It was neck and neck all quarter then with the pies leading by a goal nicoski bobs up out of no where to take a screamer and with a set shot on goal 40 meters out with only 2.21 on the clock. Hits the post.....

Imaginary commentary from the final 2 minutes of play:

Collingwood in front by 5 points, clearing kick out of defense finds Thomas on half back, Thomas plays on only to be tackled by Gaff, eagles have the intensity, ball spills out to le snack, le snack a long ball in to darling who's one out in the square, spoiled by tarrant, but wait, oh no he's put it in the path of the q stick lynch who snaps GOALLLLLL......!!!!
Eagles in front by a solitary point. 7 seconds on the clock the eagles are gonna win their first game...

There's the siren......
The fans go ape shit. They've one a game.

Ah fair enough. Though the bag he kicked against me from CHF was still pretty impressive.

Looking forward to the count too. Wondering how Scotty Thompson will go; seemed to be almost as prolific a ball-winner in the game as he is in real life, though might not get noticed by opposition coaches as much, being an inside midfielder.
Or perhaps Pav will go the double.
 
Hi guys. Going to go through the B&F's here first and then start the Brownlow count in a new thread that I will link here. Keep refreshing and post your comments with your thoughts as the night rolls on.

I don't know how long it will take me to get through everything. I won't draw it out with interviews and ad breaks. But if there is a bit of a delay between posts, I may be off on a toilet break or the kid needs to be tended to or something.

Interesting note on Scotty Thompson, he managed to poll in 20 of 22 games in my BnF voting (unrelated to the Brownlow), in a system where only between 3 and 6 guys receive votes each game. Guy's a machine.

Keep up the good work Jorel, this'll be a handy distraction while I try to get a bunch of work done tonight.
