Nino Tempo 90 Sax player and Actor

Worked with his sister April Stevens and Fifth Ave Sax

Number 1 1964

Nino Tempo and April Stevens were such a talented duo, and Deep Purple - their biggest hit from back in 1963 - is such is beautiful song with its haunting melodies. Another talented brother-sister duo - Donny and Marie Osmond - did a great cover of the song in the mid 1970s.

Like his late sister April (one of my few correct guesses playing this game) Nino Tempo has died in the month of April, although April Stevens was also born in April, while Nino was born in January.

He seemed to specialize in playing bad guys, although he did play one of the teenage slackers in The Burbs in 1989.

Was he any relation to actor William Katt?
Wiki says distant cousins

Richard Zachariah is one of my 'Mandela Effect' deaths. When Maggie T passed away last year I was shocked to see that Richard Z was still alive, having thought he died back in 2015 or 2016.
I only noticed his passing because the entry for Nicky Katt was missing from yesterdays date - scrolling back he is listed for April 9 - as is Zachariah

Jean Marsh - English actress aged 90 from dementia. Jean was a star and co-creator of 'Upstairs Downstairs' and was briefly a Doctor Who companion to the First Doctor in the role of Sara Kingdom in the 1960s. Previously she had been married to future Doctor Who Jon Pertwee in the 1950s. Also played one of the villains in the terrifying 'Return to Oz' in 1985.

Peter Waltham - Veteran Perth journalist and newsreader who had long stints with both Channel 7 and Channel 9 in Western Australia, starting his career in radio and continuing on radio after leaving television. Died from cancer at age 83.

Boston Public was pretty decent, watched it as a kid. He was in the Dark Knight in a small role too.

Mental health awareness is so poor, we are really travelling at a snail's pace as a society in regards to it.

His son (Tim) is the husband of Elizabeth Hasselbeck who was a co-host of The View.
Also a castaway on Survivor:Australian Outback as Elizabeth Filarski.

Clodagh Rodgers, Northern Irish singer of the 1960s and 1970s and later an actress, aged 78. She was a contestant in Eurovision in 1971, her biggest singles were 'Come Back & Shake Me' and 'Jack in the Box'.

In one of life's bizarre moments, I watched one of her songs on Youtube yesterday not knowing she had died on Friday.

Also played bass on You're the Voice and Touch of Paradise which was news to me. I just assumed it was Greg Macainsh since he was in the video but he must have just been the touring bass player.
Macainsh is a really underrated songwriter, I have him up there with Robert Forster and Don Walker.
