Hey Guys,

I posted this on the Port Board and got a bit of interest from a few Crows guys, so thought I would post here.

"Hey All,

Thought this might be a bit of a fun idea, and not really sure if anything has been done similar as im fairly 'new' to the site.

I was thinking about how cool it could be to have a 'fun' game of Footy with members of the Adelaide Board vs the Port Board.

Obviously we could both have a mix of ages, experience etc and if popular could be able to make it an annual event?

Hire a local oval, have a BBQ afterward with a few drinks.

Is this a nut case idea, or does it have some possible merit?"

Would anyone be interested?

I do these sort of games with mates and mates mates, brothers etc. Great fun, would recommend to anyone who wants a run around.

I'd do this but I'm not going to be in the country in July and August. Also I'm absolutely terrible at football. Still, if it's after August I'll probably come along for laughs.

My playing ability is worse than David Gallagher, Laurence Anguin and James Byrne combined ie completely useless, but if you're looking for someone in an off-field capacity - such as a goal umpire or scoreboard attendant or timekeeper I can do that.

I haven't played for a couple of years but I'm quick and can kick equally well off both feet so a HFF role would suit me.

I've thought about trying to organise a Port v Crows Bigfooty showdown. The hardest part would be organising where we play because most suburban grounds are being used on weekends. Max Basheer reserve (on a non footy day) maybe...

Haven't played in a few years now, and I doubt I could even fit into my old footy shorts, but if this happens and I can make it along I'll happily take CHB.

haha Dandy, I think half the fun would be watching people squeeze into the footy shorts of old.

I've always been a soccer short type of guy, always seemed wierd witht he skins being that much lower than the 'short'.

If anyone is in need of a FF who plays like a FP I'll do it 6.2 last match, one set shot haha.
