I don't think that is a likely outcome.Can't say i fully agree with just give him until November. Fwiw i want us to be proper Ange in and back him with the best signings for the system. And if he failed with that backing then he goes.
But if the powers that be are on the fence and think like this they should just do it now. Reason I think this is they'll not back him in the summer and he'll be on a hiding to nothing. They won't go and get 5 signings that are the Plan A or B. It'll be the cheap usual Plan E option because it'll be too costly backing a manager they're unsure on in the first place
As you say, there is no reason to keep Ange on but not back him. So he's either gone, or they will continue to back him as they have been doing. Nobody gets all of their number 1 targets every window remember.
Huge window coming up. 4-5 key ins would be good, whilst we do need to move on a heap. We can afford to move on a heap yet still have a big squad!
