Except for one that's needed one for 2-3 seasons, thats hosting concerts "for money to go back into the team"
nuh man, we had a killer pairing, there is enough actual evidence to back that statement up

unfortunately, the world class one has seen the light and wants to escape the vacuum whilst the other one is showing signs of wear and tear that'll likely deny him from being truly world class for more than 5 minutes a season (clearly hyperbolic)

now we need to rebuild... again

They can barely play half a season together

We cant claim bad luck in season 2 for them not being fit regularly

We've done it!

We're signing a centre back in June. I take it back, sorry Lange. With Romero wanting out we've gone to the hotbed of world class centre backs the J-League and signed Kota Takai breaking the J-League record transfer with a 5m fee

In all seriousness though doubt he is ahead of Dragusin, Phillips, Dorrington, Davies or Vuk for a 4th-8th cb spot at the club

Could sell some shirts though

The articles around about us going back to the old Spurs style of UK based young signings is doing the rounds again. Not all of them like Gray not quite ready for top 6 level football. A summer of signing these guys would be fun to watch, need a absolute quality CB for Romero if/when he leaves

Eze
Cirkin/KWP
McAtee
Hackney
Tokai Gun CB

Get rid of Biss, Richarlison, Davies (Cirkin direct replacement + 3 kid CBs), let Sonny decide what he does. Maybe add another attacker if he did leave. Devine being linked to a Championship loan. Lankshear and others linked to Mason at WBA.

Think we'll end up using Scarlett and Donley behind Tel as the backup ST rather than sign Wissa.

Should be a likeable squad. But agree with the view it won't get anywhere near a top 6 finish. Which would be a hard one for Frank to survive, or agree to in the first place.

Ironic saying that when you've complained even after winning a trophy
No complaints about the trophy here. Conflating a bigger issue that 17th would lead to an inevitable sacking is your comprehension error.

tbf, its all very plausible and a very real outcome
The ink wouldn't even be dry yet and there's a cynical whinge about selling shirts. A whinge about world class centre backs when at best all we'll need this summer is a 4th choice behind Romero, VDV and Danso. No club is spunking squillions and high wages on a 4th cb.

Then we have the ludicrous suggestions of going back to KWP or Cirkin. We let them go for a reason.

You don't have to listen to me, agree with me or like me. I'm not fussed. But I do know, if you want a sane experience following this club you should not be taking in 95% of what old mate says about this club.

read a few articles that the club is struggling with club trained players so KWP makes sense

I enjoy reading the hyperbole from both sides, I understand it is somewhere in the middle

I wish it wasn't necessary. I will never complain about fair complaints about the ownership or management of the club.
But I will push back on things that are unfair.

We've signed a Japanese CB. Who knows how it'll go. Could be another Eric Dier that provides decent service for low money or could be another Wimmer, A.Phillips and is a loan specialist leading to a fee down the road. If you make a profit in the end then that's more money you can invest down the track.

Give it a chance and see how things go I say, it wouldn't even be in our first team transfer budgeting that signing and won't affect what we do between now and September 1.

club trained players are always important and a backup RB could be handy. I'd query if he's good enough given he's now twice been in a Southampton squad that's been relegated. Good players can get relegated but at what point does that become problematic.

Transfer thread has us linked to Kudus. Looked pretty decent in the West Hame games I've caught.

I would really like Eze too, big fan of him.

Just checking in lads,

Hows spurs transfers going?
It depends who you ask, iDon.

You'll get varied responses such as "It's really early in the window and no doubt Lange is working behind the scenes noting he keeps things quiet compared to Paratici" to "Levy Out"

But its okay, Frank will park the bus with what he has and a mid tier finish will be CELEBRATED.

The townspeople will rejoice.

Edit: Given this was likely covered up at the Gunners for years, we need a new CEO. He was commander in chief while Partey was protected. Vinai needs to resign.

Within a week of his contract being up Partey is finally charged

Our morally corrupt organization has just hired the ceo who was in charge of arsenal at the time they decided to cover it all up

Oh and we've moved on to Plan E after Semenyo, Eze, Simons in that overrated West Ham player Kudus. The only player at that club worthy of a bid by a champions league club is Bowen. Mid table trash the rest of it

Thankfully Chelsea cant say no to a new player and will probably beat us to him. Shifting our HG Madueke further down, but Arsenal will probably sign him. And we'll get who the real enic target has been all along, Tyler Dibling

Been absolutely poetry in motion watching the club do the same shit while releasing media item, sucking in the same fans over and over.

I am stoked Ange was sacked. He doesn't deserve this spineless and pathetic club nor do any supporters.

Is that a bad thing? Shit enough we let him go, and shit enough Chelsea don't want to keep him.
If he wasn't HG status no one would bat an eyelid at him.

He'd be more useful as a backup to Kulusevski than KWP or Cirkin at LB
We've played this game before. We do as you say and get Cirkin and Madueke in. Need that HG hit.
The minute they display not being good enough you'll be all over the board about cheap signing that doesn't make us better.

So let's cut out the middle time. Not get either. And if we must then name an academy player for HG. At least that won't cost us additional money for sub-standard HG cover.
