You’re asking for evidence, the onus is on you to identify what will satisfy. But it’s ok, I know you won’t because there’s nothing that would. You’ve already alluded to him potentially having genetic weakness and similarly minded , hey shorty, blamed Matt Crouch for putting his hand up and causing his own damage. You’re fooling nobody. It's your claim, it's not up me.
Im pretty sure youve blamed "selection culture" numerous times over the journey. You’re asking for evidence, the onus is on you to identify what will satisfy. Which why I’m asking what I need to provide that will satisfy you. It’s not hard, tell me what you need and I’ll get it for you.
The bolded is wrong. While I can't speak regarding Soligo's management, he displayed clear symptoms of groin problems in matches of the second halves of 2024 and 2025. This was nothing to do with form. In a couple of matches, he just stopped to a walk while others ran right past him, and it wasn't because he was exhausted. So Crouch continuing to put himself up for selection is the clubs fault ?? Right I understand.
Dawson struggled with a foot injury in the last 3 or 4 weeks, would you suggest our captain and best player miss finals ?? Cool, thats another great suggestion.
Soligo struggled with form rather than physically.
Meanwhile you havent got the balls to concede every other contending club did the same thing late in the season, you just wanna do your regular "we do everything worse than everyone else" shtick youve been doing forever.
Dec 5Let's start with this. Is there any evidence to support the claim beyond "Crouch had to retire early" and "Draper hasn't trained much so far this preseason?"
From the BM reports, it was clear Draper was being managed because of an underlying injury.Dec 5
Sid Draper was absent from today's main training session, though it's understood he completed some running separately from the group. The club has said he's following a managed groin program, but with no firm timeline yet for his return to full training.(

Yes I know josh money.

So we've ****ed his groins up by asking him to follow a managed groin program?
That's a no, then?
So what evidence do you require? He played, clearly deteriorated, took a single week off ‘to get right’, played again, played SANFL games and ultimately forced to retire. And you’re suggesting we managed his injury properly?
In other words, wasn't offered a new Contract, allowed a graceful exit ......now, as all retiree's, gets to spend more time with the familySo what evidence do you require? We all do, but you don’t feature for 2-3 run throughs and then disappear pre-Xmas if all is ok and you’re going to have a strong finish to the preseason. Highly likely we’ve cooked his groins and we’ll be lucky to see him accelerate out of an SANFL pack this year. Let alone at AFL level.
I could understand people attending PS training, would have a better inkling on what's with Draper ......but commenting from Mount Gambier with any degree of clarity .....MmmmI'm asking if there is any evidence relating to Draper, or at least anything that links his situation and Crouch's at all besides Draper being currently managed.
If we're going to say that "Crouch appears to have been mismanaged" qualifies as evidence on its own, then you can say the same thing about literally any player being managed and missing a block of training.

Yes, we played Draper to the end of the year. He hasn’t been able to train due to his groins throughout the first part of the preseason. When rest was required, we chose to push through and try and remain available for selection. Both Crouch’s lost an entire season due to the same management strategy. Soligo clearly impacted the back half of last season. We have form when it comes to ground and expecting players to work through it. Draper is the next unlucky player. At least with Matt, speed wasn’t part of his weaponry, 2017 cruelled Brad. But risk/reward, would probably do it again. A kid in his first season playing 2s, put him on ice.
STOP FEEDING THE ****ING TROLL.Okay. So your claim is that we have most likely ruined his groins by not resting him early towards the end of last year. It's not exactly compelling evidence but it's something.
I guess time will tell if you're right. Fingers crossed you're not.
Couldn't agree MooreKilling the running and also bench pressing big numbers, agreed - hope he gets some decent midfield minutes.
But don't underestimate the value of a small/medium forward. Took a while for everyone to learn the importance of a back flanker but we now all know - small/med forwards have been making an impact on the last few grandfinals. Not to mention Greene, Heeney etc

Couldn't agree Moore
That high half-forward/ small forward role has become a key position of the best teams. Think Mcluggage, Dylan Moore, Petracca (since he moved fwd), Will Hayward, Toby Greene, G.Myers, and so on. I'm sure I've missed heaps.
The point is, we shouldn't be relying on a small forward to become a midfielder when we need a genuinely elite half forward who kicks 40 goals a year IMO
STOP FEEDING THE ****ING TROLL.
Well the club is hardly going to come out and say they caused the problem, if they did in fact cause it, cause maybe it's genetic, like my good looksThis is your original quote. You have since supplied a Matt Crouch quote as evidence, but Crows didn’t say anything about the club “cooking his groin”
This is another attempt from you to discredit the club, something you do at every opportunity.
