All is not well at FIFA it seems:

Coupled with FIFA ethics committee members recently quitting over the Qatar saga it seems that there was a giant internal power struggle over the whole Qatar issue. Bin Hammam quite offended by Blatter's suggestions of playing World Cup 2022 in January and sharing it around with other nations. That's Blatter's way of saying that he does not support Qatar and thinks the whole thing is a joke but is powerless to do anything about it.

You just don't want to change your username :p

We all know Blatter will say anything or do anything to make people like him. I get the feeling Platini is also struggling to save face amongst the UEFA and CONCACAF nations.

I don't think Blatter will be re-elected come mid-year. What happens after that is anybody's guess.
