I'd just about bet my house that Under Armour's deal with Rebel Sport doesn't extend to branded clubs.

Tottenham should be the answer here. Has anyone seen a Tottenham shirt outside of a Rebel Sport or Amart in Australia?
Maybe it's a bit like alcohol.

There's no open market for it in Australia anymore. If you own a business, it's no cheaper to buy 50 slabs from CUB than it is to buy them straight from Dan Murphy's - Woolworths basically sets the price for everything.

Perhaps Under Armour gear isn't supplied wholesale to other chains or independently-owned stores. Maybe they have to buy it via Rebel and thus have smaller margins - or charge higher prices.

Good on them. I know they put out an inferior product and overleveraged themselves but people's lives depend on being employed by BLK so it's nice to hear that they have a buyer. Hopefully they do in fact learn from their lessons and put out better products.

I think the AFL are negotiating in behalf of the suns so I wouldn't be surprised if suns remian with em for a year.

Is that the digital equivalent of Salt Bae? Just sprinkling their name with flair.

He said there would be an announcement soon, but never specifically said we won't be with BLK.

But you can take it to the bank that we won't be with BLK.
Given that Adelaide's been linked to just about every manufacturer under the sun, it would be somewhat funny* if they ended up with BLK

* funny in the same way as when someone falls over and it's hilarious, but they've actually hurt themselves.

Nah, I'd sit back in my Puma home jumper and find it hilarious for it being exactly what it is.

Lions have confirmed they've signed with Majestic until 2020, including the 2017 season, via their Twitter account.

AFL club Brisbane Lions have confirmed that they have switched to US apparel company Majestic Athletic.

It is Majestic’s first foray into AFL, and begins a season earlier than anticipated, with the partnership running until the 2020 season. Majestic will supply the team’s playing and performance apparel, as well as retail gear.

First reported in December, the Lions moved quickly to make Majestic their official apparel partner after the collapse of their former apparel supplier, BLK.

The Majestic brand already has presence in Australia as the company has a current four year deal as the official uniform supplier for all eight Big Bash League teams. They are also the on-field uniform supplier for all 30 Major League Baseball teams, and also manufacture sports apparel NFL, NBA and the NHL franchises.

“We’re excited to be entering a partnership with this premiere club,” said Brett Scholl, President of International, Majestic.

“I am confident that our innovative product, commitment to service excellence, and retail proficiency will allow us to optimise results for the Brisbane Lions and their legion of fans.”

Brisbane Lions CEO Greg Swann added: “The club has undergone many significant changes recently, and we are very pleased to be able to finalise this new partnership. Majestic Athletic has an international reputation for supplying quality sporting apparel and merchandise to some of the largest brands and sports around the world, and we are excited to welcome them to the Lions.”

These training tops look really good IMO.

Following my post in another thread admiring these tops, I went Googling to try and find one to buy. Perversely, I found them for sale on a UK Rugby site. Ordered one expecting an email to say my order had been cancelled and refunded, instead got an email to say my order has now shipped...!

From all of this I would assume that the "private investors" that have bought BLK will be honouring any remaining contracts, i.e. still supplying the Saints in 2017. But who knows...

St Kilda have already confirmed that they've terminated their BLK contract.
