Someone with better knowledge … Russell is regarded as one of the best in the business so are we running further and harder then most teams or are all teams about the same … what does he do that is elite because from my couch it looks pretty average
Great question. Other point would be, did we get the training loads wrong, aiming to get through the r2 bye? It's been a nightmare since.

The sports science and conditioning world is full of conjecture about what constitutes “best practice”.
It’s hard to defend method if the outcomes are poor.

Cerra 9 weeks out 6 quarters in 4 weeks more out.
Cuningham 6 weeks out 4 quarters later another 6 weeks out
Martin 8 weeks out 4 quarters in another 6+ weeks out

So much for holding them back.

14 injuries plus 1 more mystery for Thursday nights team. This is surely gotta start impacting on the players’ ability to hit contests as we may be having to forfeit games after the bye. Might need to bring back the covid replacement players.

Im not holding my breath, but if we don’t lose any players to injury against the swans (im touching wood, don’t worry) or midweek, we could have as little as 7 on the injury list by next weekend. Interesting

There’s something seriously wrong with this. Once or twice is a coincidence. Every player that’s coming back is going straight back into the rehab group.

Don’t forget Motlop - started as a toe injury and somehow ended up with consecutive hamstring injuries.
