Didn't he sign a big contract recently? Not that it matters these days.. 3 way deal with the Crows, GC and us would be nice!

I know for a fact we were trying with Tom Lynch GC (I posted it as soon as I got the info just after trade period started) from what I heard it is highly unlikely to eventuate this year.

Surely equalisation doesn't mean that Adelaide, Geelong and GWS - 3 clubs that will continue to play finals for the foreseeable future - can pick off Gibbs, Tuohy and pick 5 for ... inadequate compensation which does not enable Carlton to rise up the ladder and compete to play finals ... it is the sense of entitlement of Adelaide, Geelong and GWS that is upsetting ..

and how is it that GWS can have more salary commitments for 2017 than it has salary cap?
