Apparently, whilst still CEO at Adelaide, Stephen Trigg was working on his masterstroke. Trigg planned to get Eddie Betts from Carlton across to the Crows and also have him re-sign with Carlton from 2017 onwards. It was 23 years in the making and may be about to come true. Upon re-signing Betts, Carlton will also announce they will be returning to Princes Park for ALL home games, the Bluebirds to be relaunched, the additional returns of Sam Jacobs, Josh Kennedy, Tom Bell. AVCO to become new major sponsor and Adidas as apparel supplier. Also rumour circulating that Laurence Angwin & Karl Norman to be coming back to the club as a part of Social Awareness to educate the playing list.......pppfffffftttttt. I call bulldust on this rumour!

Heard on 3AW tonight that Carlton have identified Tom Mitchell as one of our main targets for next year with the midfielder uncontracted at the end of the year and are in talks with him.

EDIT - I believe it was Scoot or Scoop whatever his nickname is who said it whilst on air with Derwayne, Healy and Caro.

A couple of years back, we were very into Tom. Unfortunately, that ship has now sailed and we won't be getting him.
