It's abit rich players commenting about stability, granted the saga wasn't their fault but if they stop putting in piss poor performance like last Sunday then the coaching staff wouldn't be under fire.
Yup.

Knights, Worsfold, Rutten, Hird. Even Bomba to an extent.

These players have ignored the defensive instructions of each of them.

Take some ****ing responsibility.

Imagine if Clarkson comes and he still can’t win a final? Lol
I see this as a very real possibility given our issues. If the coach is the only change then I will be confident this will happen and clarko’s reputation will be destroyed (assuming he is coaching next year).

If big changes come as a result of the review then things may be different, but even then that will take time. I hope supporters have the patience to deal with it.

He fixes the cable?

Who gives a f$#@ about the knutsens!

I wonder how things would look if we'd gone 7-15 last year and 11-11 this year. I think people would be pretty happy with Truck.
Win loss record for the whole season aside the way we rocked up in round 1 this year was a disgrace. Just reeked of complacency across the whole football department, and I blame the coaches for that.

That will not happen under Clarko.

You don’t know that until he coaches Essendon. He may be having flash backs of Lloyd’s hit on Sewell every night waking up in a sweat and remembering how much Monfries disgraced his proud and designated “tough guy” Brown by taking his slap with ease.

After Kennett’s antics, what if he takes a year break after realising that the Essendon coaching position is not open, brushing aside other big clubs like Collingwood and Carlton with ease. He only has one club in mind. Then GWS and North come knocking, but he sees that Essendon started poorly so holds off. He seduces the Essendon board by letting his manager contact them to register his interest and causes absolute chaos.

At last, the opportunity to destroy Essendon from within arises. There is his opportunity to finally get back at Lloyd by destabilising his favourite club and setting it back at least another 10 years.
Lol. Destablise us.
He'd walk in, look around and see job's done
Joint's ****ed

Damn was Cath Durkin and she deleted it. Said Barham will address the media via a doorstop whatever that means

Was reported last night that he'd speak at 9:30 today

How you guys feeling this will go, I'm fairly confident he'll go to yourselves which is fine all the best to you but how do you see this playing out?
I personally think your board will hold Truck to his contract make him coach this week under the premise we'll see what Clarko says, behind the scenes he's committed and is waiting for Sunday to make a decision post game and truck being sacked. North will know vaguely this is going to happen some stage today and move onto plan B

Okay

You're Dave Barham

It's 9:25am

The media pack outside are like a roiling ocean

You check your prepared notes, a quick shuffle and a small grin that's just for you. You know they've wanted an inside word, but you've been careful. You've kept this under wraps so well, only a select few people know what's about to happen.

You open the doors and a wall of white noise hits you, hundreds of cameras click and questions are all blended together as you sit down ...

This is a BFD ... This is going to change everything ...

"Thank you for coming. Today we are proud to announce that we are going to be increasing the Bombershop discount to 22% in honour of the number Michael Hurley wore in his first season. It's a big day for the club"
