I quite like his work (much more than I like mine :D), his politics, for the time quite radical and his scandals. But I doubt I would have liked him as a person had I known him.

Nah, he was a pretty shit guy. But hot. I found myself lusting after him as creepy as that is xD

Not creepy.

He seemed to have some sort of romantic V bastardly attraction going on, to both sexes. His list of conquests would more than suggest you would hardly be alone in thinking that SSFC. Plenty of odd people have attractiveness. By the way I don't think he was evil, just would not have been able to get along with and his treatment of friends could leave a lot to be desired.

I can't even post on this site, whether I'm using chrome or firefox. Bigfooty has done something to this site with add-ons, and it's affecting some people. I had to download Safari to post in this thread. I'm just letting the mods know about the error messages and white pages I'm getting.

Exactly, but either way we're having a piss-up, if there's no rapture, at least we'll be all hungover after one hell of a party. :)

Oh and bowled a 500 series this morning. Bowled a 185,148 and a 167. :)

Yeah, the bastard attraction. The treatment of Lady Lamb by him was particularly equal parts lol and affront.

Well yes... the bastard effect.

Insulting him at first she set a classic case of challenge which completed bored him, she was left behind in his wake of destruction.

He ruined her emotionally but after the insult that could well have been his aim.

Considering the fact she was a married woman who pursued the affair yet had the continued support of her husband it was all fair in love and war... so to speak imo.

Ah we have reverted the board to the lives of English poets.
