I am going to Canada and USA in Dec/Jan, I can't wait, but we are flying Air China which is a massive 40 hour flight :( Cheaper, how long do you have to wait at Singapore for?

I can see how they might find your behavior a little strange then.

Went and saw Foster The People (my favourite band atm) last night on George Street. Awesome show. Didn't get to go to Splendour where I would have seen them, but so happy I got tickets to this show. Went off last night.
 
At my other half's suggestion i began making popcorn. Without vegetable oil I substituted d olive oil in the saucepan... I heated it and the early signs suggested the granules were spinning as expected.

Than after pouring in the half cup of granules and placing the lid on the saucepan it blew the lid back in my face and whited me out.... looking up the whole saucepan was on fire almost to the rangehood half way up to the roof. Turning off the gas it was too hight to replace the lid, so i moved it the sink and ignited the curtains under the sing in the process of putting it out... thank god only they burnt and nothing else.


so congratulate me, another successful night of not setting the house on fire.... but this time it was a close call


PS dont use olive oil to cook popcorn.

Cas, try Stilton cheese and Pinot noir. It's working for Fu tonight and has not caused combustion of my blinds either.

OMG u lucky thing

and yes olive oil and WATER never mix i learnt the hard way

good way to save on airfares.

Moloney may have been very sick and should not have played today. That would be Bailey's fault providing he owned up.
 
Had a chat to Matt Spangher last night at a bar in Paddington I was out at for a mate's 21st. He was there with Hanners, Teddy and JPK watching the Freo vs Hawks game. Dunno where AJ was during this Xaviers social event. Asked Spang if he'd be back from injury next week and he said he ought to be.

Was a huge thrill.
