Hope you're having fun grim, I am in the US, the portions here are HUGE. Went to the new Madame Tussaud's on Hollywood Boulevard in LA and the wax figures freaked me out a little. Already had one guy ask me if my Australian accent was real, when my cousins told him that I was visiting from Sydney we all just cracked up.

Did you admire JPK's tan as well? I remember seeing him at the golf early in the year and he is a surprisingly big unit.

I asked if I could apply lavender oil to his guns but he politely declined. Luckily, that oil came in handy during my aforementioned trip to the bathroom.

JPK is a really big bloke in person, it's true. Teddy too. He doesn't look that big compared to the big forwards he plays on every week but he's a big guy too. Hanners was the little runt of the group.

Me and the guys I was with were all fairly pissed up and we went looking for them a few hours later but couldn't find them. Gonna shout them some beers but they had bailed. Heart breaking.

Exactly the same, terrible hangover and all that was put in front of me was two terrible games. Pity I'm going out tonight so I'll miss the Swans, I'll have to watch the game when I get home.

**** me, I had one atrocious night.

Firstly, watched the Wallabies get slaughtered. Shithouse.

Then, had my end of season footy dinner at King Street Wharf on the Harbour which was nice enough (though ****ing expensive) and the boys are a good bunch so that was fine, although 2 of my teammates ended up having a bust up of sorts over playful "sack-whacking". I was getting score updates of the Swans all night while I was there so I was obviously distraught when I got the FT score. Then I hop in a cab to come home and change into a suit so I can head off to a 21st that is cocktail themed (didn't wanna have to wear a suit to an end of season footy event).

Driver gets to my place which has a fairly steep driveway that is on a ledge of sorts above a lower, smaller sort of garden area. I go to my room, get changed and come back out ready to go. He starts backing down the driveway and does a ****ing horrible job and ends up backing over the ledge so that his back left wheel is perched off the ledge while the other 3 are still on the driveway. Obviously, he's unable to move. Poor bloke, felt very sorry for him.

I was about to bail on the 21st to help sort this out but my parents just told me to go and forget about it and the taxi driver would sort it. So off I go to one of the worst parties I've been to this year. He's not a great mate of mine (I was happy to go of course) but is one of the friends I've known the longest so felt compelled to go. But it was just not my crowd and most of my mates were leaving as I got there (at midnight) or already gone.

I get a lift home from my mate and the poor cabbie is still there with a tow truck driver trying to sort it out. Takes him another hour and now finally the taxi has been removed from my home.

Shit night.

The curse continues, still yet to see a win live. I'm going to go read a book, console myself a little after driving four hours there and four hours back, and if i feel like it convince myself I should go up and watch the Richmond game next week if I get time off work.

Also saw someone punch his kid 3 times in the side, was gobsmacked it happened right in front of me. Kid was a little shit that you see everywhere these days, but those punches were insane I grabbed his arm and told him to calm down he turned and roared at me it was his kid he can do what he wants and then took off. Was absolutely stunned, still am.

I'm the same RoR, I actually realised before the Dogs game I'd only seen two wins for the year, against the Bombers and Tigers, now my ratio is getting a bit better.
