SWANS coach Paul Roos last night remained adamant the club would not be giving away any premiership heroes after a fruitless day at AFL trade week.

Roos admitted that midfielder Jude Bolton and small forwards Amon Buchanan and Adam Schneider were more than likely to stay at Sydney despite their names being floated by the club during trade talks.

"Things have been blown out of proportion a little bit with them (Bolton, Buchanan and Schneider)," Roos said.

"I'm almost certain nothing is going to happen with them (in trade week). We are not going to give any of them away for nothing, that's for sure."

I haven't seen confirmation anywhere though. The trade tracker on AFL website still only lists Mattner, Meeson and Judd as the completed trades.

yep it was in both melbourne papers, that schnider was going for 2nd rp, said that Roos told him that he would be better of at an other club, also mentioned that dempster would struggle for a spot with matener in.. also some salery cap issues were mentioned...
Though you cant believe every you read.. Either way i hope he goes no where..

There is no quote in any of the newspapers that quotes Roos saying he would be better off at another club. It is the journo putting in their own opinion.

yeah ok, but personally i think a Jude Bolton trade could be good... for the right price..

personally i would like to lose no one and add to the playing list.

but there are rules regulations and salary caps.

No probs. When the poster is honest enough to say "I like him. I don't want him to leave. We need him... etc" ... fine. You've something to defend. But don't waste your time trying to defend ignorance posing as definitive, arrogant inside knowledge.

This is the Sydney forum, and so some Sydney supporters will obviously be quite upset and highly emotional as a result of a very unexpected trade. There's no need for you to try n take the moral high ground here, even if you think you are right. Try to be a little sensitive yeah?
