Would have been nice if we'd gone through that season undefeated, and we came so close. But alas it wasn't to be.
Oh well, we won the flag. And to see this thread coming up again as another season gets underway has to be a good omen

(Grendel, if you're superstitious and Essendon wins the flag, you'll be cursing yourself come September).
