I say, get a few of those countries together (say USA, Japan, Korea, couple of European nations), take 8 teams from World Cup 2022 and host our own tournament in Australia!!!

Calm down. Whining, crying, and hosting a rival tournament that no country would show up for, is a really great way to show how mature Australia is. You do realize that doing that would get us banned or possibly kicked out of FIFA. FIFA punishes national associations all the time for even the slightest offense(Peru and Kenya most recently).

And the fact that Qatar got the most votes, probably says that not as many people are "disenchanted" as you may assume. So cheer up, and let's concenrate on a joint bid with New Zealand for 2026.
