Is he worth pick 6 though? why not try and take him @ 13 or won't he last?
If we left him, I guarantee he'd be gone before #13. Most likely to Freo @ #10 or #12 or the WCE @ 11

Why is he from W.A? if yes is he the sort of person who would get himesick and **** off after 2 years?

Possibly, but I think we would need to take the risk in the situation. I don't want the other WA midfielder, the downhill skier Farren Ray

Bozza with jacobs gone, wellman getting old and hunt still unproven our backline could be shaky in future years laycock and johns are forwards and richards is more of a flanker. do u think we should consider Chaplin @ pick 6? and two midifielders @13 and 28.

No. IMO no Key back is worth taking with #6 this year. I think I'd be keen to take the best available player with #13, whether it be a key back or midfielder. Then with #28 we can grab a project KPP such as Stewart or McConnell

Laycock can play CHB. He got two BOG's in the Liston from memory. One at CHF, the other at CHB.

I haven't seen enough to know, and it's probably too early to say anyway. But he can play CHB

Without a doubt but I feel he will be gone before you get a pick.

Definitely either Tenace or Bradley will be available at 6. I'm tipping both will be there.

(1.Cooney, 2.Walker, 3.Sylvia, 4.Ray, 5.McLean or Dunn)

Tenace is clearly the best available at that point if he does slip through and Sheeds would have to consider him. Otherwise I'm tipping Bradley, Dunn or Clarke would be in the mix.

Surjan would be more likely at 13, if not later still.

Your forgeting our choach is K.Sheedy he loves athletes (he will take Bradley if available ) and a guy who'd 198cm and can move as good if not better than fletch will be gold once he develops think about it give him 3,4 years of weights and to develop his endurance he'll be nearly impossible to match up one can out run oppenents on wing, can ruck, can play FF, FB, CHF ,CHF he's a next generation pavlich, kouta. As for us needeing fast midfidlers say we get dyson (who i've heard is quick )with pick 13 add him to walsh, winderlich, reynolds, rama, alvey, cupido (will develop into midfieler), mephee(will eventually take wellmans role but will be blooded through midfield) haynes, there's enough quick midfiders for now anyway pace is overated if we improve our clearances then pace won't be such a big an issue

He's tall but he's not a KPP. We don't need his sort.

What if the 5 picks before us are all quality on ballers(cooney, tennance, syliva, walker ,mclean than would you consider Bradley?

Of course we'd consider him, but we'd be silly to pick Bradley ahead of Dunn, Surjan, Dyson, Clarke, among a few others.

Never stoped Sheedy before if he's see's something he likes he'll take it

It hard to predict who will be better out of those you mentioned whoever we take with pick 6 could potentially be better/ worse than any player in the draft. so goes for just about any pick

You're right, he hasn't. Doesn't make it a good decision, though.

Picks always have an element of risk. But at the time, we have to make the best decision we can.

Yeah..and you'd think he would have learnt his lesson by now.

Pick the two best midfielders available with 6 and 13. We can still get a decent KPP at 28 as the quality of the talls in this draft is average at best.

Richmond got criticized for taking Coughlan ahead of Cloke. I think he'll be gone by 13 to be honest.

Although saying that, Kepler is a rare talent if he lives up to his billing

Why wouldn't Melbourne take Bradley at pick 5?

Probably the fact that they have some good up and coming talls such as Brad Miller, Nick Smith, Darren Jolly, Mark Jamar etc. and they really need some good young midfielders to complement the talls coming through.

Is it a NSW boy? Kyle Archibald?

Nick Potter is a NSW boy. Not fairly well known.

I would say that if he is still around we will definitely pick him up in some fashion. Either in the national draft or the rookie draft.

I would be VERY surprised if he wasn't picked up after playing several games in our reserves this season.

Whats the difference if (Surjan) the boy was from Vic or WA they all get homesick but who is to say he will!! Why not take the risk the Eagles took the risk with Judd! And what a champion!
