I also wonder why commentators don't correct their fellow commentators.

Healy is the worst regarding Boyd but he's not on his Pat.

Pretty sure Brian Taylor was guilty as well on Sunday and he even spent time at the Dogs in an informal coaching role. (Admittedly it was goal-kicking but I'd imagine he may have bumped into "Brad" a few times while he was there!)

Greg Healy always gets that wrong, i can't stand him on "On The Couch" either, he always looks uncomfortable throwing to a commercial break.

commentators are always mixing up bower and grigg from the blues.

as someone else mentioned, they dont correct each other and it leads to an awkward silence when they realise theyve effed up.

Yeah I noticed that, Fox's Commentators are a joke when it comes to the players.

They pronounce WC players McKinley as McKinlay and Masten as Marsden.

Minior issues but FFS Fox get it right!!

It is annoying when commentators get players names wrong, but particularly when they do it repeatedly.

This thread reminded me of what Victorian Lions fans use to have to put up with. No offence to Brisbane fans with a 'Bears' heritage, but Fitzroy fans that followed the Lions after the merger had to put up with countless 'Bears' calls from a number of commentators for a good number of years after the merger. The worst hands down was Dipper. Can't hate on him too much though, his sort of funny but uninsightful observations were probably better than most of today's 'boundary-riders'.

Healy is an absolute shocker, he gets names wrong so often its almost like he is intentionally paying zero interest to the game off the screen, just happy to cash in that TV job.
