If the Bombers went for Crouch they'd ask for Francis. Think we all know that that won't happen (both sides would think they are losing massively in a straight swap) but it's still 100% the first word out of the Crows list managers mouth if trade discussions were to start.

We would need afl approval to trade a pick, so I can't see that happening.
And I'd be surprised if he wanted to go and the crows were looking to let him go

Would be great to have him working alongside TOM and if we were to land Coniglio as well then our midfield would surely be the best in the league.

I do feel that we're in greater need of a KPD and KPF though.

Hardly think adelaide would entertain a straight swap with bcrouch for a bloke that can’t even get a game in the firsts... madness.

Francis is also out of contract at the end of this year and last word from worsfold was that contract negs with Aaron had become a bit of “a game of cat and mouse” and it was looking likely to be put off till later on in the year.. For all we know that means he has said he has told them he wants out again and being uncontracted this year makes it easier...

Another reason Adelaide wouldn’t bother linking any deal with bcrouch with Francis.. the trade price for an uncontracted bloke that can’t get games in the 1st’s isn’t exactly gonna be expensive and would adelaide even want him?..

I'd say he's more than likely gone from Essendon, but doubt he's worth a lot. I think a mid to late second round pick is the best they could expect for him.

You forget the dodoro factor..he will want 3 x 1st rounders for francis

I doubt Francis will get traded. Just has some things to work on inthe VFL
