Brad Crouch versus Tom Mitchell

Both players have had exceptional seasons so far for their respective Clubs and both players look to be future A Grade players of the competition. It's tough to split them at this early stage, who in your opinion though will be the better player once they reach their peak?

Went with Mitchell but pretty much this. Both will be stars of the league for the next decade.

Mitchell doesn't get much of a run on the ball racks up a lot of touches on the forward flank

Sydney obviously love Mitchell and rate him highly due to his history at the club. He's a good honest battler that tackles well but isn't flashy. Crouch for mine has the greater potential and is performing slightly better in a worse team.

What I like most about Mitchell, is he's playing mostly in the forward pocket every week with usually 1 quarter a game in the middlea and he's still racking up big numbers. Not only that, but he's led or been close to topping score involvements every game since he's been in the side.

We rate him highly because of what he has done since his first game starting as a sub (coming back from years of injuries), not because of who his dad is.

He's playing half forward and we've only seen what Crouch can do the last month.
Maybe watch some football?

Crouch averages one more possession a game but an entire goal less than Mitchell.

So Mitchell plays forward, kicks goals and still manages to get as much of the ball as Crouch who plays more in the middle.

Crouch's increased midfield minutes are somewhat offset by Mitchell being in the better side and Sydney's game plan suiting him with their emphasise on contested ball and stoppages.

Still have to take Mitchell, but it's close.

Not terrible at all. But not good as Crouchs game. Crouchs last month and a half has been really impressive. Its been more impressive than Mitchells.
