Brad Scott immediately after the game

There is no doubt Brad was angry and somewhat stung by the events of last week. And not just articles in the media, but the I feel the general supporter sentiment has to got to him as well. Not sure if he bothers to read this forum, but one way or another, it got to him.

In the race after the game he was as angry as I've seen him after a win. As the players were enjoying the applauds Brad waved to Spitta to bring everyone back into the rooms, as a result of which some players went in, while others waited for Drew being interviewed.

In the presser he also alluded to criticism over his loyalty to the players.

Ultimately we won so this could work for the better. I just hope Brad and supporters are still on the same wavelength.

A great win yesterday. But still didn't do anything to dispel my doubts over Brad Scott. Any coach worth his salt would be closing the gap between our best and worst, we clearly have shown we can match the best, yet he can't motivate them to perform week in week out.

As for the selections, Wright was the only one that semi worked out and that is even debatable as he still continues to torch the ball. Love McMahon, but his is not a long term answer and his bets footy is well behind him. And Liam Anthony was fail city again, can we please close the book on his career at North Brad?

Life is certainly good after a win, but all that win did was raise more questions for me. But for once I will enjoy my week.

From where we currently sit we can possibly snatch this years flag or we can possibly miss the finals altogether so to expect sane debate and positive discussion on here is laughable. Hopefully the team can show the type of intensity it showed last night for the rest of the season.

Anyone hear the SEN Harvey interview thursday night?? Boomer had some interesting comments on our Brad.

Towards the end, for those interested in it. Brad starting to coach now, more like he played. If there was one criticism - not really a criticism - is that he may have nurtured some blokes, e.g. Lachie, a bit too long (about six months), instead of pushing them a bit harder, which he is now doing.

Good question by Robbo. Good response by Boomer. I daresay having a coach come from another club can give you an idea of how hard the players need to be pushed.

was a great interview with boomer yesterday.... I recall when Harvey came out 2-3 years ago after the collingwood lose and put the heat on Hansen, cunnington and few others so maybe he did that out of frustration because Brad at the time was being to nice.

Love the interview. Boomer is a dead set ****in legend.

If we win another flag with him in the side, then the greatest all time NMFC player is not even a discussion anymore AFAIC...
