I would have no problem moving Maynard to the midfield now, today and yes I do see Mayne as the weekest link in the midfield. Like it or not that is how it is.

We need to fit Adams and Elliott back into the 22 before Mayne is even remotely a chance of going out of the team. And even then an existing midfielder, not Maynard will take his spot on the wing, Hes about fifth in line to fill a non existent vacancy.

I do think that maynard could be a very effective wingman, but I would have thought if anyone was to come out of defence to play wing, it'd be Crisp. He's not far from playing wing as it is.

I generally try not to block other posters because I Iike the fact that we all have different opinions. I also like the fact that sometimes my opinion is left of centre, not the norm.

I could express my opinion with a little more subtlety sometimes especially on touchy subjects.

I've been on BF for a number of years now so I'm content with expressing my opinion and others expressing theirs.

I do have one poster on block, a couple of years now, who became a little too 'friendly' so to speak. So the block function has a purpose and does improve the BF experience.

I'm thinking of this year.

Everyone is prone to a turn over. Look at Pendles last week. Maynard opens the play up with his kicking and has been very good at it this year. Especially his last month.

I have one golden rule which I adhere to most of the time. Do not post when drinking/drunk. I find I'm a dick and 9 times out of 10 I regret it the next day.

Thought him and Treloar with a few others but mostly these two just simply weren't switched on and were just going through the motions early on but it's coming off the bye so you see these kind of things.

Was pretty funny even Treloar getting interviewed going into half time and when it wasn't the greatest feedback and "I better let you go, I'm sure bucks will have a lot to say" it's like that hadn't even dawned on him and you could see the penny drop like "well shit"....gave me a good little chuckle at the time hahaha

He does more of these than people think though. People often say he is an elite kick because he looks good doing it, but his kicking is actually average.

Was off today, thats no doubt. But that is no where near the norm.

I watch him closely, being one of my favourite, and his ball use has been excellent all year. I would argue that 1 or 2 Bad turnovers sticks in your mind more than say 5 good kicks do.

Has the odd bad game by foot but 80% of the time he is good

It was a really good game last night and some wonderful individual efforts. Noble, Aish and Greenwood were superb on WC's potent small forwards. Wilbur's job on Allen, Roughead keeping Kennedy goalless and Maynard's efforts to shut down Darling. Obviously all this wouldn't have happened if CFCs midfield didn't smash a full strength reining premiership midfield. Go pies!

Agree, the mids made it easier for our defence which hasn't been happening lately. Kennedy did not look fit either which helped.

Maynard did a Fantastic Job and Ablett last night. Ablett had no Impact
