I'am friends with his brother and have always rated brent higher than rhyce, but i'am wondering to see your opinions on this third year player. I would think he should cement a place in your best 22 this year..

what are your thoguhts on his abilities and the likelyhood of him becoming a regular?

Only made his debut last year, do not think he needs to cement a spot in his second year.

I think 15 games would be reasonable as he will be fighting for a spot starting on the bench with Mackie, Stokes, Selwood etc.

If Geelong are to win the flag next year, Prismall will need to deliver. We cant carry anybody, apart from the first year players. Those that have been around for a few years, and still think they have all the time in the world to show something need to take a long hard look at themselves. In saying that though, Prismall has more time than most.

Mackie wouldnt be starting on the bench, he will either start on the wing or on either a back or forward flank. I think Mackie will really stand up this year! and show his potential.

I've noticed on heaps of the other boards that there are pretty detalied reports on the clubs pre-season training and players results in the gym... Anyone got any information on Mackie... Primarily on whether he has actually found the gym?

according to jubs it's only old people leaving club cats pokeys and 14 year old girls gagging over the latest hairstyles that attend training this time of year. So I guess noone is now game to submit a report for us after that. ;)

Pris is a star. He is a great replacement for Riccardi (as he is skilled - which is what we need) and was getting better at the end of the 06 season. Pris and Stokes both played really well in the VFL finals series. He will be in our best 22 in 07, as he was already in our best 25 in 06. I'm guessing he will play 13-16 games as an on-baller, occasionally moving to the HF line.

I like the look of the Pristar but Im not sure I see Ricco's relacement when I see him. For a start is he really that quick? To me he is another of our guys who are not slow but certainly not high end quick. With Bartel , Ling and now Selwood it will be interesting to see how we structure our side.

Prismall will be a good hard player for the Cats, though he isn't a replacement for Riccardi. Firstly he can and does get in to get the hard ball, which not many of our midfielders currently do. He does dispose of it well also.

I'd say that Gamble is a good replacement for Riccardi, but he has a huge upside over Riccardi. He has an abundance of athletic ability, with huge hops. It will be great to see him grow and become a constant fixture in the team and take hangers all the time.

Back to Prismall though, he is a good player and I think will be in our best 22 by season's end. He disposes of the ball better than a couple of our current midfield. Also he isn't fighting with Mackie over a spot, I'd say more likely with Kelly or Stokes.
