Im considering also getting rid of him. He dropped a bit more than Walsey's sigte suggested he would.
But decisions should not be made so early on in the week.
Got the cash to upgrade him to anyone. (Goodwin looking tempting)
If only I stuck with Cooney over Stanton to start with.
Did Stanton even cop a tag last week, because he was no where near the play and his scored only looked half reasonable because of his 12 touches in the last qtr.

his score on the weekend was terrible. And only inflated due to 12 cheap possessions in the last quarter..

nah, I'm just messing with ya. But, trading guns has a terrible effect on your trades that you can spend on upgrading to guns...

Definately regretting not pulling the trigger on him last week. Narrowed it down to Cooney and Priddis. Shattered. Was also thinking long and hard about bringing in Selwood, so i'm pretty glad i didn't pull the trigger on that one.
The general consensus seems to be if you've stuck with him this far. Persist. What did you make of his game S'Think he's Daicos'J? Watch him like an eagle?

looked much better tonight, shows what he can do when not tagged but that will still be the issue over the course of the season.
Yes I kept Stanton! Wooh yeah. Have faith I alwys say!

Can't say I'm too upset I off-loaded him after Wk. 1.
120 last night...
...against one of (if not the ) least accountable mid-fields in the AFL
...and he kicked 3 goals, without which he barely cracks the tonne.
Alas for poor Stants, he doesn't play the Bulldogs every week.

I watched him very closely last night. He worked his butt off trying to get in the play, often without reward. Needs to show more smarts when his team has the ball. Often ran to the wrong spot and was ignored. Kicked 3 good goals when he did run to the right spot. Had Boyd on him for most of the night, he is is the closest thing the dogs have to a defensive midfielder. Not in brilliant form but if he keeps working that hard he will do alright. I'm hanging on to him.

Is he frustrating anyone else?
Started crap, showed some good signs for 2 weeks, then shut down again.
Does not seem to cope too well with the tag.
So many better options out there at his price, but not worth using a trade on YET.
Maybe when McVeigh comes back he might not get as much attention.

Being new to this whole caper and not really understanding how the pricing works, I was sucked in by his pre-season.
I'm gonna trade him for a gun that will average over 100. Plus he's likely to have Kane Cornes on him this week..
His decision making sucked against the pies. Twice he turned it over in the middle of the ground under very little pressure with stupid handpasses to the opposition. Really hurt his team who had all taken off up the ground. Very disappointing. If I'm Mark Williams I wouldn't waste Kornes on him. I'd tag Watson out of the game. However, if Stanton does put in another sub-standard game against Port he's on the block. There are too many good MFers out there to wait any longer for BS to get his shit together.

Might be the week to jump of Stanton before a price drop and jump on one of the much more promising midfielders. Will only cost you a small upgrade.
