Just droppn in to say, i cant wait til we meet you guys in round 1, its gunna be the game of the year! (by the way, this thread aint putting the crows down in any way, just saying with our history it shood be a ripsnoorter)

I must say that I think the Crows and Roos have had a very interesting rivallary - even without the Carey/Stevens stuff.

I cant say that I hate the Roos as much as say ... the Bulldogs, but we've had some great clashes with NMFC.

From memory...

From 1991 they were the first club to beat us in Melbourne pre season.

Then there was the narrow loss early in 91 at the MCG. That really hurt!

We then cleaned em up by 70 odd points in the final Round at Footy Park.

Then in 93 we totally smashed em in the pre season match. Schimma was sacked and in comes Pagan and Captain Carey!

Another close win during 93 - this time to the Crows ! MODRA!

Wonderful mark! Start of the Marytn/Mods rivallry.

94 - the Roos kill us at the MCG with Ando on Carey. Our coach's mind elsewhere...maybe if he had of gone to a family planning course and timed it so the kid would come out in the off season, he could have spared us a drama.

95 - Beat the Roos at FP with Connell running into Carey, sending from the field.

I dont recall anything major happening 96/97, cept Careys run in with our crowd. Cant recall when that was... There was a night GF loss in there too - 95?

Then of course there was the tackle on Rehn and another narrow Crows loss in 98.

then there is the 98 GF!!

Anything else from last century that I have missed?
