What is everyone's favourite British Comedy tv shows??

For me, it has to be Blackadder, starring Rowan Atkinson, That show is a crack up with Baldrick being so stupid and Edmund Blackadder trying to to as little work as possible. :D:D

Other good shows I like are Mr Bean, Fawlty Towers, Allo Allo, The Thin Blue Line and Keeping Up Appearances (it's Hyacynth Bucket, pronounced "Bouquet") :D:D:D

I'm sure there's many many more that I've forgotton, but what is everyone's favourite??

Cheers!!

Yes Prime Minister, followed by Dad's Army, followed by Men Behaving Badly, followed by Red Dwarf

All of the ones mentioned so far, plus a few more such as "Open All Hours" with Ronnie Barker, "Till Death Us Do Part" with Warren Mitchell, "Absolutely Fabulous", "Hancock's Half Hour", "Steptoe and Son", and "The Young Ones"

I can't split my favourite between Blackadder, Fawlty Towers and Yes Minister

Red Dwarf by a mile...A RD movie is being made in July.
Woohoo!!! :D :D :D

My top 5:
1. Red Dwarf
2. Monty Python's Flying Circus
3. Fawlty Towers
4. The Young Ones
5. Yes Minister/Yes Prime Minister

For me it wouldhave to be The Vika of Dibley, also use to love watching 'Are You Being Served?'

Mr Bean and the Young Ones also rate pretty highly!

BlackAdder ever so slightly in front of Yes Prime/Minister.

Own the scripts of both - hilarious reading.

I always thought Yes Minister was funny, but it wasn't until I worked in the public service for awhile that I realised how horrifyingly accurate that show was!
I swear to god I've met so many Australian versions of Sir Humphrey in the public service that it's scary!

I love Fawlty Towers.
Absoluetly legendary stuff.

John Clesse was such a perferctionist that he did each take around 20-50 times to get it just right, and also just made 12 or 13 episodes due to that perfection.
