I rate McLean as an inside midfielder when his fit but his far far far to injury prone.

Definately rate Ball higher, but a fit McLean has a damaging potential

Both will never be as good as they could have been without injuries. McLean at 21 was a machine, single handedly won us a final in 06 against St. Kilda, reckon he certainly can still help Carlton out if he can stay healthy

McLean has had 26 & 27 disposals in his two games so far and will get even better when Judd returns.

Its preety easy to see the difference between the two

One trains hard works his guts out and throws his body around for his team mates

The other is a piss head and has his body falling apart because of it

I would actually say Mclean has more natural ability but that doesnt always make you into a good footballer
