Martin seems much more suited to inside ball winner, Dwyer is too light to play an in and under mid.
Not according to Gary Ayers.

Vast body shape difference and martin looks a fair bit heavierPossibly, but Martin only 1 cm taller and 1 kg heavier.
All about form when the difference so slender.
Clearly his name is Ben.IT is Tim and he'd like it to stay that way!
Benny has to realise you can't always get what you want.

Personally I would of selected Caolan Mooney to be upgraded, he is progressing nicely and booting goals in the NAB Cup. Maybe I am missing something but the word is dwyer will get upgraded despite regularly turning over the ball on most occasions.
G'Day Jet, welcome.
IMHO, of the remaining rookies, Martin has been the most consistent. Dwyer didn't get off to a flash start (as you say, he was turning it over a bit) but I reckon that each game he's played he's been getting noticeably better. I wouldn't be surprised if he's ahead of Martin now.
I reckon Mooney is still a ways off being upgraded. He's still got a lot to learn. He's great defensively because he's quick when he doesn't have ball in hand and he's got a good work ethic. But I think his biggest problem is that the only thing he seems comfortable doing with ball in hand is having a ping at goals. I think it'd spoil him if he got upgraded too quickly - I think he needs to learn more of his trade in the seconds. I'm confident he'll get upgraded one day though. Especially because Krak won't be around forever, and Sinclair / Elliott haven't been troubling the score keepers too much (yet).
Anyway, that's my opinion; but you'll find people on this board who will disagree with me and agree with you. ( blaze036)

With you all the way The Jet, he played quiet a few games last year and would be surprised if he didn't play more this year with his amazing improvement curve.
not a chance, photos get blurry from there for some reason![]()

Don't international rookies get a 3 year deal? is his his 2nd or 3rd year? Am I right in thinking the club can just give him another 3 year deal when this one ends? How often are international rookies given deal after deal without being fully upgraded to the senior list?
Malthouse said he is the quickest he has ever coached. So in saying that Malthouse finished coaching Pies in 2011 correct? So that would make it Mooneys 3rd season in 2013. I hope he is indeed given a fair chance. He is damn quick.
