Definitely appears to be a ready made player, I wasn't too sure about him at first but today I am convinced.

Anyone that has heard people from Subiaco talk about him will know that is work rate is second to none.

You can see it in his body - it is pretty impressive for someone in their first year of AFL. And it comes out on the field. Works extremely hard. Which is exactly what you want in a back man.

He was a 6th round rookie pick last year, so he gets the last number available on the list. He won't be wearing #48 next year.

Just dont give him number 9... Seems to put the hex on players....

My Broughton mancrush started in my SC/DT teams, but watching him every week I've seen that he is not just a "dream team player", but a FANTASTIC footballer.

Splendid attacking backman, who doesn't let his man get away with much, uses the ball well... I could rattle off 100 compliments on this guy

Good mature are player found in the WAFL, well done guys.

Just have to bump this thread to agree that he was crazy good yesterday, one of the best pickups last year IMO, looks like he has been playing for years (AFL).

He is great off both sides and hard as nails, that goal yesterday running from half-back and then the finish was brilliant.

Last Saturday morning on ABC Sports Talk Harvey was interviewed. Long interview where he said mostly what he's always been saying. No drama there.
Near the end of the interview he was asked something about which new players have been the standouts. The only player he mentioned by name was Broughton.

After the interview and summing it up, besides being happy to talk the Harvey on air, Wheeldon, Judge and Dorotich were perplexed how he only mentioned Broughton by name.
