He probably deserves one, but he's one of those players who has a massive impact without touching the ball all that often, even when he plays the whole game in the middle he doesn't rack them up.
Personally I can't see him winning one unless he starts doing a bit more useless stat padding.

It’s a big ‘if’ but if De Goey can have an uninterrupted season I reckon he could go close, he’s seen his sparring partner from juniors in Petracca go next level, & after watching him in the QF last year I think he’s about to do the same.
