I'm hoping for an extra Adelaide show (make the drive over there worthwhile). Easily my favourite shows last tour. I've already booked accommodation for a day each side of Jan 30. Booking.com makes it so easy, being able to cancel or change the booking at any time. Bloody cheap rates at the Breakfree in Hindley St as well.
Might give AAMI Park a miss and do the Hanging Rock show (or shows), although I have a feeling that my kids' devotion to Nippers and Surf Lifesaving carnivals is going to interfere with these plans.
Also have a ton of things that I need to do to our house, so fiscal constraints may also affect my decision making this time around.
Whatever happens, it's just gonna be bloody exciting it see him and the rest of the band again. I'm absolutely loving the latest setlists...although for some reason I have no desire to hear NYC Serenade live. It's just perfect the way it is.
On the other hand...if I do not get to hear Ties That Bind this time around I'm gonna be mightily pissed.

I was gonna do Melb, Syd, HV & HR, but seeing Syd and HV aren't consecutive, that makes me rule out HV. Ah well.
If so that definitely means I can do standing again.

That is taken from at the very very back of the lawn. I went in 2013 and watched some of The Rubens from the front of that lawn section - wasn't actually too bad. Had Front GA so ended up there for Bruce obviously, but it wasn't horrendous on the lawn to be honest.
How many do you think were in the Pit and if you went to AAMI or other Pits....are they the same size at each venue or do they vary?
So the book is out tomorrow?
AAMI front pit was ridiculously large. Half a soccer pitch.
Hanging Rock front pit was amazing. Small in terms of depth but spacious.
Adelaide was the smallest pit of the tour and the best IMO. However it looks like this time it will be half the floor instead of a quarter.
Can't speak for the other shows.
Anyone know what General Admission Rear Standing is like at Aami?? Have a budget of 150 and that falls very close to it. Prefer to stand than sit.
Any tips ?
I came down early on the day of the concert and was sad to see that the numbers were high in the line already at 6am. I got to AAMI around 8am and got my number. Even if you have a number in the 300's (which I did) don't feel disheartened. I still got front row comfortably...which was good to rest upon for the long wait....but if I was to do it again...which I might....go stand in front of Bruce's mike. There was a little platform that came out and he spent a fair bit of the night up around there obviously. You might have to stand two or three back from the front but it looked the spot to be to get up close.
It was a long day though; came back at midday to get in line...didn't get in until 4pm...didn't get on to after 8.30pm.
Will never forget it...and I am 48 yrs old...a teenage dream came true!
Last time it was a long way back. AAMI front standing was a very big area...at $250...surprisingly big.
I missed out on the Saturday night sales....massive **** up...and got the front standing about 3 weeks before the Sunday night.
You could risk it...and hope that there is a second Melbourne concert and hold out and save some more for the $260?

Probably just by myself to be honest.
Bruce fans are few and far between sad to say. No one was interested the last two times so did it by myself.
But once in there its pretty cool. Meet some great people.
Stay in touch in this thread. Lots of good advice and sheesh you may even meet some of us there!
Sounds good mate and not uncommon for me to go to a concert by myself. But I am not missing out just because no one else wants to go. Might need to get some new friends
