This year you demonstrated great character to play so well given last years trade period. I believe you were undervalued by a lot of Carlton fans and gave great service during your time at Carlton. We got picks they got a durable elite player.

Luckily I have a whole bunch of great players to select a new favourite from. Say hello to Eddie and Sauce.

Good luck with Taylor Walker and enjoy learning the pretend tough man stance.

Gibbs has been an exemplary footballer and a worthy number 1 draft pick we have had full value for. The trade is a reflection of the quality of his reputation going into his 12th season.

From his first year he has been worth a place in our best 22. On the field and off the field he has always seemed well-prepared, balanced, fair and in control. Whilst not being a superstar of the game himself he has nevertheless taken on and beaten plenty - games against Adam Goodes a real stand-out. I hope he has left a lasting legacy at Carlton, I wish him well at the Crows, but not to play 100 games for them, and look forward to further additions to his family and future Gibbs Blues. Fair thee well.

Yep.

Had my doubts a few time through his career but I watched some of his early years stuff last night and, in a better side in a more united club, he could have been an elite player.

His attitude this year was remarkable.

He will be very good for the Crows, unfortunately (because of the price the Crows paid) he'll be carrying the same sort of baggage he did for us as a #1 draft pick.

Wont ever forget his game against the Gold Coast, his games against the Cats, his 45 touches against West Coast...

His final year for the club was his best, and it's help set us up perfectly for the future.

My Favourite since day dot. reeks class and just clean. we all get int him at times for being to soft but he gave his all and busted his ass all 231 times he pulled on the nave blue jumper. a life member and will always be a Carlton person. go win a flag mate!!!

Bryce gave us an extremely good 231-game career.

He was super consistent, and while he didn't blow games apart as much as we'd hoped, he almost never played a poor game.

He was our B&F in 2014
He finished in top 5 of the B&F 8 times out of 11 seaons
He finished in the top 10 of the B&F EVERY SINGLE YEAR of his 11-year career (ignoring injury-riddled 2015)

He fell a little short of the 'elite/champion' level, which he occasionally showed some signs of capable of. His best games were insane and left you equally amazed and perhaps a little disappointed he didn't produce it more often.

But he was/is a very very very good player. And gave us excellent service for a long time and then exited with grace.

Good luck. Hope you enjoy your football in Adelaide and the family situation is easier. Thanks for the memories.

Will always be a Carlton player. Disappointing he couldn't achieve the ultimate success at Carlton. Always gave his best and in tough times.

Don't like giving trading true Carlton players but it's the system and the deal was right
