I see my name is being used in Vain. Harps that was the best Centre Circle err Ship:D ever seen on a footy oval. Hope your boys do well so we can meet again.

Scibe you are being very presumtious in assuming you will take the 4 points and go home. I must admit your directions to get to Werribee are spot on though.
Will be a very interesting to see how the game pans out Saturday. I know our boys have put in a long and heavy pre season but they have risen to the challenge and I'm sure with some handy pick ups we will do well in Premier C. Pleasing to see our numbers up so much so that we are fielding a 3rd 18's side in Premier Divsion. We really will be mixing it with the Toffs in Premier.
Will be a late night Thursday at selection and I know it will be difficult for the selection committee to name the 22. Good luck to the 22 named and bring it on

Au contrare WEST, I was simply harking back to the grand old days of 2009 when the Roys caused a massive upset (the first of 2) over the Bee machine.

Earlier you may find I have us going in as underdogs and with good reason too. You lads will be hot favorites and rightfully so.
 
Doubt there will be many easy games at all this year, shaping up as a very interesting comp. OC were excellent last year, so Round 1 should be a cracker at Soldiers. Hope its a draw. Rupppo will need to improve alot on their practice match form IMO, and have minimal injury over the year. Bring on Round 1.

We haven't forgot that, its in the memory bank. A lot of change to our personell from that year.
You can't say your underdogs when we haven't played a game yet. But as usual we'll take it and smash you blokes. Look out for our secret weapon

Scribe, will Rusling be lining up Round 1? I have heard if he is fit and up and running he will be used more in the middle.

If this is the case then the secret weapon that Westy is talking about and Rusling match up will be a beauty.

No more club affiliation Westy so I'll endevour to see the Tigers play at least once or twice this year, good things the black and yellow and should relish the challenge this level will offer. Best of luck.

OTP, I'll be at HQ most Thursdays however with Fraser's blossoming coaching career it may be a stretch to ask the great man to front for half an hour before the long trek to Balwyn. Ammo show - RIP, but never say never!

Must agree Werribee will start as very warm favorites in my book. I may be a touch harsh on OC who I haven't seen for a few years, but think the Bees are good things for finals in C this year and will therefore win easily over there in outer suburbia. Lock on the cruise control in the Audi's OC, theres a couple of sets of speed cameras on the trip!!

Welcome back les! How are your boys traveling?
 
Welcome to all - thank God we can start playing and talking about the footy and not just listen to the Werribee boys tellings us how good they are going to be again. However, I agree with Les - they are my tip for the benchmark in C this year.

Trev's tips for Round 1:

Mazenod v Ormond - Mazenod are 10 goals better at home which might mean they can sneak in.
Monash v Old Essendon - going for the side from B Grade 2010 rather than the side from D Grade 2010. Hope I am wrong.
Rupo v MHSOB - not that bloody trip to Sunbury again.
Werribee v Old Camberwell - home side easily
Fitzroy v Ajax - I have no idea but someone has to start tipping on this thread.

Tigers should produce a stronger outfit for round 1 than anytime last season, with word out that a couple of handy recruits and some young guns will hit Soldiers for their first taste of Premier C footy tomorrow.

I'm tipping a 10 goal flogging as a mere portent of things to come as we work our way through Premier C. Watch out for The Scud sneaking forward for a couple of handy majors, and our new tall timber proving a handful for the visitors.

Rupo were outstanding d1 side two years ago, and they didn't dominate last year. I am expecting much closer game.

Looking forward to having a look tomorrow.

Well TT I am even less well informed than usual as have caught none of the praccy games. Expect the Ashes young guns (watch the red head in the backline) to improve markedly after a solid year under their belts in 2010 and I know there are a couple of gun travellers back in town.

My tips:
Nodders at home by not much
Go for the Ashes with little conviction but plenty of hope
Rupo by plenty
Werribee by plenty to sound the alarm
Jackers by plenty + plenty

Even though I am tipping 3 blowouts, it looks a good even section, with home ground advantage to play a big part.

Camberwell might have a coach in trouble after his disgraceful bailing up of an umpire at the end of the game.

We got more free kicks boys, because we were first to the footy and werent hangouts.

Thought there was a maternity ward at oc's box. Never heard so much crying in my life.
