Sorry Rise but the last thing the Cats need is another 15 disposals & 1 goal per game mid/forward as they have enough of those already.

I'm sure you will be eagerly hoping Cats get done in the finals given you have very little else to look forward to.

I fear ongoing Brisbane dominance taking Richmond's mantle as the last dynasty team. No such fear with the stacked deck Cats, who have needed to be thrown into about 12 Prelims to win 2 & 1 flag over the last 14 years.

Anyway it is all academic, you are just fighting for the rights to be the team that gets put into the shade by the Tigers next dynasty. :)

What a sad and irrelevant piece of research you've completed there. To be clear, in a Cam Rayner thread, you have gone and counted which Geelong opponents did/didn't have 5 day breaks across a whole season and compiled a big analysis based on one person saying they are okay as far as forward/mids.

They must have some board games or something to keep you occupied in the nursing home.
you are questioning his analysis but not your little buddy suggesting managh is Rayner, so embarrassing no one in footy thinks that and never heard anyone say x player the next shaun mannagh

I can only assume that Cam has left some mental scars on Geelong supporters which is totally understandable

I think if we were to compare Rayner to any Cats player, we still can’t go past the great Gary Rohan.

It will be a interesting finals watch.

Actually your Mannagh/Spargo comparison was the most embarrassing thing I've seen in this thread lately.

Like I said, I rate Rayner and his impact highly.

Mannagh averages 18.8 disposals, 3.5 clearances, 4.8 tackles, 1.4 goals, 0.8 goal assists and 6.9 score involvements this season. 2nd highest rated general forward in the comp by AFL Player Ratings. He's played 32 games of AFL in total. It's easier to just say "I don't watch Geelong games".

ive never mentioned spargo, the big 32 game superstar shaun mannagh need to put some time into him this week I reckon, his name definitely up on the white board first

Comparing Shaun Mannagh to Cam Rayner, its like than Danster bloke brining up Spargo. Absolute brain dead rubbish, you and Danny would get along, like the old senile blokes on the muppet show.

You said mentioning Mannagh is like bringing up Spargo. You're therefore equating their performance levels and that neatly sums up your lack of football knowledge.

Mannagh is playing in his 3rd final next weekend. 38 disposals and 4 goals from his 2 finals in 2024.

Rayner's first 3 finals he combined for 28 disposals and 3 goals. If Mannagh has 10 disposals and a goal he has done better than that.

Rayner was like 19 in his first 2 finals you potato playing in a team that hadn't experienced any finals or any success

Lol 28 yo Mannagh has an unremarkable 46 contested possessions and 9 goals + goal assists in his 7 games v top 8 teams this season.

Why is he being discussed?
Mannagh averages 18.8 disposals, 3.5 clearances, 4.8 tackles, 1.4 goals, 0.8 goal assists and 6.9 score involvements this season. 2nd highest rated general forward in the comp by AFL Player Ratings. You worship AFL Player Ratings, remember.

So hes not on your list? strange, oh good one you got me, premiership hero Joe Daniher retired as opposed to sore finger man who's going to the big house and still getting paid
You asked, I answered.

We didn't use pick 1 on a Shaun Mannagh type player, and we replaced our missing player with an A grader rather than a D grader. Unlucky Lions.
