Who left the door open? We seem to be getting a lot of vermin in here lately.

Yep - the old, your welcome to your opinion but only if it is the same as mine. Really dislike the continued attacks as well, not needed - disagree by all means then move on - probably feels that he/she wins an argument by shouting louder!

The young fella scribes well too. Warm insight into leaving with Fyfe from the Freo site

Really liked the article dedicated to him in the latest Freo magazine too, not really interested in the off-field stuff so was surprised to learn he lived with Fyfe and Silvagni. Really quiet and humble guy and not without some brains too. It's funny, I only selected him as a buddy in the first place because I like taking punts on high selections as well as the #33 connection (the Wiz is my all time favourite player) but he is fast turning into one of my current favourites.

Good bit of trivia too that he was from the same junior club as well as draft selection (71) as Brian Lake.

Suffice to say he has lived with the best possible role models since coming to WA, Pav and then Fyfe. Silvagni is highly professional too.

Every game he plays he comes closer to being one of my favourite players.. fantastic blend of skill/decision making as well as being able to win 1v1's as his body fills out. Comforting to know you have a quality 10 year player in the back 6 sown up so young.

Spurr in rookie draft, Barlow in rookie draft. I rate Spurr as a bigger draft steal than Sutcliffe. Gee that 2011 draft is looking very special, with Neale, Crozier, Sutcliffe, Spurr and Dawson all playing great football and Sheridan pushing for selection (when injury free).

Said it before and I'll say it again. We didn't kill it as well as the '08 draft but '11 was a thing of beauty. And given that track record we can all hope and pray for a stellar '14 draft in a few weeks time.

Sutty is apparently one of the hardest trainers among the young ones - he had a massive pre-season last year and his own teammates were touting him to explode this season. I have complete faith that he will outdo himself this year.

I hope we can keep all the '11 boys. :)

Just can't wait for the year he moves to the midfield and can really show his wares, testament to his aptitude and determination that he's been able to mould himself into a competent defender after always playing as an outside mid (95% assumption here) in juniors.

House mate has probably been a useful example in this regard as well.

Worked out well for us.
