Im curious to know if anybody who has seen a bit of Luke McGuane know whether he could possibly be used as a key position forward?

I loved Rance yesterday, Moore is a gun backmen but is otherwise lousy in the forwardline, and Thursfield is too good to be left out of the side. Many people would doubt whether we could hold up a successful backline with 4 tall backmen(even though the Cats do it, and im all for it).

I think it would be interesting to trial McGuane as a forward. What do people think? :thumbsu:

i believe he played as a forward in his junior days right up until his first year at richmond where they converted him to defender

Correct. He definately has the pace to be a quick leading forward but doesn't have the height or the thickness (body wise) to be a key forward...could pinch hit IMO but doubt TW will ever play him down there...
