Yeah, ever since we got that one deliberate behind vs Norf a few weeks ago (which was correct IMO) I just knew there would be a massive overcorrection and Norf would get the rub of the green for the rest of the year. Still reckon at Etihad yous can do more damage in finals than us or the Roos.

I think we should keep an eye on the Eagles. If they drop the Derby next week (and Freo do gee themselves up for it so there's a wee smidgeon of a chance) they're every chance of losing the last three (GWS in Sydney, Hawthorn at home, Adelaide in Adelaide).

All we need to do is try and win what's in front of us, week by week. Ignore any noise.

Freo is pretty shit atm. They don't have any key mids, so very unlikely.

Saints would also need to win all 4, and a win against Franklin seems unlikely with the KPPs saints have atm.

Yeah true. We can get to max 13 wins if we win our last four games, so if any of the sides above us notch their 13th they are safe, because I highly doubt we'll catch anyone on percentage. Ideally the Dogs beat North next weekend and we keep winning because then North's next three would be Hawks GWS Swans

Anything 12th or higher is fine - that'll put us in the 'second' fixturing group of 6 (is that system still happening?) and means next season our draw will be significantly tougher, but means a lot of scope for development too. If we make finals next year with that draw, we'll be well placed for a red hot crack from 2018 onwards.

Fiar point. How does the system work. Grouped as top mid and bottom six I presume?

Yep that's my understanding. 3 x cohorts of six teams, you play every team in the other two cohorts once, and the other teams in your cohort twice. Although that doesn't quite work since we played Dogs and North twice this year (and only play Bris and GC once). But it's something like that...

Goal kicking plus that final kick inside 50.
Same thing plaguing us for 18 months now.
We won the inside 50s count 57-44 but lost the game easily.
I think that says it all.

Lol, not a lot different between our clubs then. I don't think anything is worse than us beating the Crows in inside 50s by nearly 20 I think, equal scoring shots, and losing the game by 10 goals, in the showdown earlier this year.
