While I have always thought Pav was a great footballer I must admit to doubting his ability to captain Freo.His defensive pressure and physical aspects of his game were sometimes less than desired.He often seemed to be more focused on his game than the team.

Well the last few weeks have turned my opinion totally around.He has been totally sensational, inspirational and totally team orientated.

I feel with this kind of leadership lesser players cant help but be inspired and a return to finals football may come sooner than I would have thought if all players follow his example .

I am really regretting the fact that I wasnt as big of a Pav fan as I am now but am so glad to be proven wrong.

its pathetic. Brian Taylor was having a crack at Pav on the Sunday footy... i mean if that guy was maybe 25% of the footballer of Pav he would have the right to even comment, let alone have a crack. People need to grow the **** up.

****wits like BT love it when we lose becasue they never ever fail to lay the boots in, even though the moron was complimenting us a week before. BT, and a few others like him, never take the context of a game into consideration, much less watch the whole thing I suspect, when commenting on Fremantle. They donn;t seem to extend that ignorant assessment procedure to any other football club though it seems....

.. and who gives a **** what Pav says. It might have been some in house joke as well....
besides , a cape can add to a superhero's appearance
