I was replying to a post that said "if they can't drag you to finals by now". We have clearly made finals with those players. No where did I say anything close to me being content with just contending for finals.

Given your long history of drastically underrating Carlton players I wouldn't expect you to have a clue though. Kennedy a VFL player, Silvagni a spud, Elijah Hollands a D grader... The list could go on for a long long time...

Blues chances next year entirely depend on the development of these players/ability to bring in players to fill the bolded spots on the field. Players like Cowan, Moir, Carroll, Lord etc have started showing a lot of promise this year after being given more responsibility late in the year but are still a way off premiership calibre at the minute. Getting our top group healthy and back to their best should get us back into finals contention but after that it's on the bottom 6-7 to lift the team to the next level. Not sure I have a lot of faith in them getting to the level we'd need them to in 2026.
TDK probably gone but will be replaced by Pittonet which isn't too bad.

Perpetual January premiers. Been hearing the same crap year after year going back nearly a decade to every trade period SOS apparently won and Carlton were on the brink. Bar one season it never materialised.
