This was a great interview, I note there was little to no commentary on teaguey though. Thought that was strange.
I'd really like to know who the player that wasn't getting regular games that Malthouse thought should be Captain was.

No. Go back a bit and you will see quotes from M.M. showing that it was Andrew Carrazzo. Malthouses concern was that he was often injured though.Nick Duigan

Blues won the trade period but lost the draft
Carlton’s year began as always with a loss to the Tigers, followed by a loss to the Magpies. And the knives for David Teague…www.theroar.com.au

Listening to the Marc Murphy interview on AFL.com and shocked that the closest he came to leaving was to Richmond end of 2015.
I wonder what they would have given us at the time and how that may have impacted their flags in 2017 onwards
And what impact would Murphy leaving have had on our young players just as Bolton was starting

Murphy re-signed for 4 years during his last year in 2014, so perhaps that would have been end of 2014. Cost would have been at least a 1st rounder back then.
Murphy leaving would have allowed us to play more kids, so I don't think it would have had a detriment effect on our rebuild
