I think GC will be a little reluctant to hand over Brisbane’s first given they could realistically finish anywhere from 14th to 6th

Soaps, you were asleep at wheel as an uncle. I heard Lochie on radio last week. He was a pie supporter as a kid. Shame on you.
Ok, you can remove the shame stain then. It is like your family be covered in holy water now to hear that.I know but his Dad was a one eye Pie supporter. Mum is Navy Blue. That is the side with the brains
Whole family is now Navy Blue including his Dad.![]()
I played footy with his dad and he was the most passionate and one eyed pies supporter. Can’t imagine him being Navy Blue through and through.. surely deep down he is hoping he gets traded to PiesI know but his Dad was a one eye Pie supporter. Mum is Navy Blue. That is the side with the brains

We've added Fasolo, McGovern and Newman at the same time we've lost or let go of Wright, Byrne, ASilvagni, Rowe, Kerridge, Graham.....etc.
Yes, the rebuild does have the right flavour about it, although we missed on that senior mid we wanted this year. That happens.
Next year should be the year we put the right cherries on top. We did well this year, but just didn't hit every target, although it wouldn't have made that much difference in the long run. I feel we now have everything in place that will tell us who is in and who will be out next year.
2019 really will be the big year for us...........I think.
The Autopsy threads are going to be as boring as batshit this year.
Without Rowe, Lamb, Kerridge and Graham to denigrate there will be hundreds of posters not quite sure what to do......

Well put Harks.
This board in the main is well worth the read - thanks to posters and Mods.
Some other boards are like watching a bunch of wild pigs all trying to shit on one another.

Carlton haven't ruled out parting with the No.1 pick, with Geelong Falcons star midfielder Sam Walsh widely tipped to be the first player taken.
Cameron is guarded about his club's intentions, but said the likely price tag of two of the Suns' early picks in return for No.1 would be too steep to consider.

Words straight from the Gold Coast Suns list manager.
Craig Cameron is not an idiot, he has 3 top 6 picks in a strong draft. I expect him to neither move up nor move down.
Welcome to the Carlton Football club Sam Walsh.
P.S. I expect Adelaide Crows will fail at moving up the draft order, they will try and try, and I expect they will fail.

"The Blues have long been thought to have earmarked midfielder Sam Walsh as their first selection. That certainty drifted in recent weeks with dynamic South Australian forward Izak Rankine being touted as a serious option."
So you are saying no movement of picks in the 1st round?

@Blue__Balls,
Anything is possible, and SOS is literally begging for a deal. But I just don't see it happening. GC need to use all 3 picks since they are starting the club over again.
Craig Cameron appears to have told the SA clubs, via that article, that the Suns are no pushover. Crows don't have enough chocolates to get a deal done.
I expect a great big fizzle on draft night, top 8 stays put.
If I am wrong I will come here and apologise to the whole football world.
Peace.
It's a long way out but I'd really like to see next years first used for a key player and not another 18 year old. We'll see.
