Carlton
B: Anderson Jamison Bower
HB: Armfield Austin Walker
C: Simpson Bentick Grigg
HF: Fisher Kreuzer Russell
F: Betts Hartlett Edwards
R: Hampson Gibbs Murphy

I/C: Blackwell Jackson Browne Aisake

Emerg: Cloke Benjamin Shields

I don't mind that young developing backline, but drafting another key forward, a gun centreman and a quality HFF wouldn't be a bad idea. ;)

Love the rucks and the midfielders. :)

Thankfully Judd, Waite, Carrazzo, Hadley, Setanta, Stevens, Fev, Scotland and Thornton will be around when we're aiming for finals in the coming years.

PS. GET PETRENKO!

Thankfully Judd, Waite, Carrazzo, Hadley and Thornton are the right side of 25 and will be around when we're aiming for finals in the coming years.

That is a pretty decent team for U23's, especially when you consider Judd, Waite and Thornton just miss out on "selection".

I rally can see us becoming a power house in the next few years.

Let's not forget that Stevo and especially Fev still have a lot of footy ahead of them.:thumbsu:

There still a few years younger than Lucas, Lloyd, Fletcher and Michael from the Bombers. I think they might be in a bit of trouble in the coming years.

A surprising result given we lost two years worth of draft picks, but picking two good kids in Fisher and Simpson have lessened the blow of the draft penalties. The irony is we've drafted better top quality kids in the 05, 06 and 07 drafts as a result of missing out Goddard, Wells and possibly Mclean.

And we still have Walker, Fisher and Simpson.

Another couple of good drafts and we'll be a power in three years time.

Other clubs have lots of players under 23 too. :D

And we'll get another good kid next year as well. The top 10 next year will be as strong as any draft ever!
I think we will get at least two kids in the next draft because it sounds like there's alot of depth in the draft. The next draft will be more interesting since we won't have one of the first two picks and will come in about five or six.

We need a player with X factor and blistering speed like Dale Thomas.

Use Are The Biggest Ferals Of Them Alll *******

English mate, English! If you plan to mock the white collar team of the comp, at least show us some literacy:thumbsu:

Otherwise you keep pushing that BAR exam to become a Richmond supporter into the negative, therefore making Millers recruitment task all that much harder!!

Malteser Western suburbs Richmond
Gee you make me laugh!
I don't think that brown stuff you are covered in is chocolate mate!

Western Suburbs? give me a break...here we say Yous which is short for You Guys or you Fellas and it at least fits in the sentence where as use used in this manner must belong to the Western Suburbs Western Suburbs..not sure where that is.

Not to sound like a troll(Even though I know what I say will be shot down anyway).

But I think there would be close to 10 other teams with better under 23 sides.

Hawthorn would probably be the best of the lot, what would be good would to see a comparison of every teams best under 23 team.

For example I will do Richmonds, be aware I have put this up in about 5 mins:

B: Alex Rance Will Thursfield Andrew Raines
HB: Daniel Connors Graham Polak Jake King
C: Dean Polo Brett Deledio Richard Tambling
HF: Shane Edwards Cleve Hughes Mitch Morton
F: Adam Pattison Jack Riewoldt Danny Meyer
R: Angus Graham Nathan Foley Trent Cotchin

INTER: Jay Schulz Travis Casserly Daniel Jackson Luke McGuane

Now bias for mine would say that side is better, we have about 9 players who played consistently this season and around 10-15 who will get about 10 or so games next year.

How does that differ to the Carlton team put up. Plenty who played consistently this year.

This comes from the Tugger line of thinking that near enough is good enough, so it's understandable where you come from.

Your kids led you to a spoon so they are great :thumbsu:

At least half those kids wouldn't get a game in any other side which shows just how poor your list is. Saying how many of them would play consistently and others will get this and that many games is irrelevant because they really won't have much competition.

I think that just about says it all....the only 9 you score there is on the spud factor. I'll keep our list thanks :thumbsu:
