I can’t believe I’m reading the last bit. Vegemite on fruit toast! As a youngster I knew the kitchen was my dad's domain, but one of the few things mum would go in there to cook was scones
She'd shake her head are the fresh scones coming out of the oven and dad teaching me to put butter & Vegemite on them
He also taught me that Vegemite goes on raisin toast, fruit English muffins etc
I suppose. Will have to try it but I like marmalade on fruit toast with a shit load of butterSweet and salty![]()

I’m not a fan of too much alcohol in desserts and sweets! If I can taste it - yuck. If there’s a hint then that’s okay. I have an intolerance to alcohol so it’s just not worth my while drinking even a sipLaced with alcohol and creme after it has been heated. Makes all the grans and aunts titter on Christmas arve.
Do you use an easel or a flat surface?I want cake now but I don’t want crumbs in my painting I’m doing.
