Yep this is why I do feel sorry for these clubs. They are stuck in a league they can’t really compete with and they don’t really have anyway to attract players without spending stupid money. Macorna now have less travel for recruits and don’t have to find the same quality to compete.

No doubt Nullawil could’ve came from GR to the CM and probably been a powerhouse but even they were smart enough to look long term, be proactive and merge.

Yep agree, although ultima have had 12 months planning and I think hay will be okay.

But agree the Report done about footy in the region didnt care where these clubs would end up, it was written to get ultima into the central murray, that was its only purpose.

Macorna have done well, they've got a bfl premiership player as coach, who coached well last year in the league, they look far more settled and ready for success than the clubs in the cmfl

Tooleybuc really bounced back from that loss, they possibly will be top contenders with these recruits. They picked up Nayef Hamad who had 60 touches in the western league.
