Ch 7 Coverage

I don't know about you but the coverage that 7 delivers of the football is pathetic. Not bagging the commentators but the cammera work and the choice of shots that have been going on over the last couple of years.
WHAT IS WITH THE LOVE OF THE EXTREME HIGH SHOT. If we wanted to watch the footy like that everyone would sit in the back row of the top deck of the grandstand. The down the ground shot again from distance. T.V coverage is suppose to bring us closer to the game, get us in close and see what is going on not take us further away. There is a reason why the wings on the stands are full and the ends and top decks not, SO WE CAN SEE THE GAME.
Channel 10 and fox, no probls good broadcast and they don't over do the fancy shots, they show the game. Channel 7 CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let them know how you feel, tell channel 7 to get their act together.

i agree, and is there any chance the special comments guys can stop talking after play has restarted, bucks just keeps on talking , and as for the right time to show a replay of an incident, they have no idea.

Totally agree.

It was completely frustrating watching the game last night. They need to hire some decent cameramen. So many times the camera was too slow for the movement of the ball, or zoomed in so close on the player you had no idea what was going on around him, or the absolute opposite which was the view from the grandstands.

Who the hell is in charge of the camera work down there? Where did they hire him from, McDonalds drive-thru?

I don't care what it looks like, I'd just like them to actually show games ON TV!!! They say they 'love footy' but only broadcast the game they supposedly "love" to certain places.

That's the only thing I can complain about in regards to Ch 7

My idea of a proper response to the delayed coverage of Friday nights Coll vs Bris clash is;

After today's Good Friday Appeal, dont watch Channel 7 at all until 8.30 next Friday night, and tell all Collingwood people that you know to do the same.

BOYCOTT CHANNEL 7 FOR A WEEK.

This really is annoying, I want to watch my team live, but can't because of a few "w***ers" sitting behind a desk at 7 headquarters who believe some gardening show is so bloody important they cant hold it off for one week.

PISS OFF CHANNEL 7, YOU ARE AN EMBARRASSMENT.

You may think things have changed over the years, If you do, you are right. Chanel 7 lets us down week after week with its poor coverage. It loses its appeal more and more by the day. In fact so bad has it been in recent weeks I didnt even bother watching last nights belated coverage in Perth. I followed the game on bigpond. Not that this was any better but at least I could follow the game without long winded incompetent dribble. I would have thought it would be reasonable to expect these money grabbing enterprises would give the consumer some value for the pennies they spend and at least put the game on the HD channel live.

Not only target channel seven when venting your spleen but have a crack at the advertisers who we pay inflated prices for the privilege to watch the damn TV!

I guess I'm in the minority but I don't really care if a footy game is delayed for an hour. I wish that if it is delayed though that they could shorten the halftime and quarter breaks. The camera angles are annoying but people have been complaining about them for years and nothing has happened so I don't really expect anything to change.
