I and my band of likeminded companions were rapt.

Similar to 119, taking out a wooden spoon is a huge cross to bear and a stain that won't wash away. To avoid it and take the first ever AFL points at Adelaide Oval was just fantastic. And we got him in the end anyway.

And to think Melbourne engineered a systemic culture of failure in order to reap rewards like this.
