nah thats rubbish. he broke lines with great run and carry numerous times. 6 tackles. there was about 8 players worse.
Sorry but that fumble on the 50mtr arc in the last that resulted in a goal sticks in my mind. A player with that experience shouldn’t fumble like that.

Looks like it will be wet tomorrow night. Wouldn’t be surprised if Chook comes in as a late change for a tall (Esava or Tomahawk).

Good ins excited to see Crameri he sounds like he’s pumped to get out there.
Wouldn’t have picked Guthrie but otherwise it’s a good team.

Didn't realise how big Crameri was. 190cm 98kgs, he wouldn't look out of place lining up for the Storm.

You could play him at half forward ... you could play him in the middle and have Danger forward. You could start him on the bench as another rotation.

Plenty of choices. Yet they choose to stay with Gregson who gets pushed off the ball far too easily and adds nothing. Murdoch who is a dead set spud and a liability, Zac Guthrie, whom I posed the question last week, what does he actually do, and Thurlow who is scared of physical contact.

Point taken.

Play blokes who add something and aren't scared of putting their body on the line. At least Stanley is out so there's a positive.
Not sure I understand your view on Thurlow being afraid of contact. I thought he took contact quite well in the games he has played. He is very skilled and will be an asset to our defense and attack. Agree on Zuthrie wholeheartedly. Gregson runs hard defensively, but I think his spot will be taken when I am back up and running. Murdoch I believe is getting a game because of his body strength and tackling of recent times. He does make a lot more errors than can be sustained though
I believe when Menzel, Parfitt, Cocky, Ablett and My good self are back, Your concerns will be eradicated.
Thank goodness Smith is back in. I do notice Buzza is an emergency, so one would think Smith is being given the message that both Stanley and Buzza are breathing down his neck. I truly hope he does a Ted Whitten to Scotty and shoves it right up him.

Murdoch was absolutely shocking last week.

Don’t agree with that, didn’t mind his game last week. Parsons was actually better than any other game this year too, yet he gets dropped this week and not when he truly deserved it. I get the feeling the match committee is all about “potential match ups” and not about actual form, but there seems to be players also that are exempt from that. I usually defend their decisions because they are in a far better position to know than me; but this Guthrie one has me stumped. Nothing against the kid but he looks lost at the moment.

I think your last minute change is on the money. Constable to play some time down back and some time in the midfield.
I still reckon we've got enough small cover down back and Constable will spend the most of his time on a wing.
The smalls they have picked are big bodied. Griffin, Ward Reid Hopper and Lloyd
I reckon Tuohy on Reid
Henry on Lloyd
Thurlow on Hopper
Bews on Griffin
Stewart on Ward

Kolo on Himmelberg
Blitz on Patton

Smith to smash Keefe
S.Selwood to contain Coniglio
Danger and J Selwood to have a field day on Shiel and Whitfield
Duncan to be on one of their no names and rack up a record for his disposals in a game.
Kelly the same
Menegola to crash and bash and allow Danger time forward to mesmerise them.

Imagine if we had the 10 best 22 players back in right now.
Scarey

This week we must humiliate the opposition by ploughing through them.

Our mids and Smith must win that battle, and without Greene, Cameron Lobb Scully and Kelly, surely we can do that to them
Hopefully Crameri shows us his worth in game one for us and 100 for his career and we're all in love with him from there forward

Then Charlie can just have a fun day of getting his hands dirty with a debut of 20 odd touches.

Yep if anyone wants to argue our injury list isn't all that bad, only needs to look at those that are super fortunate that they are playing AFL at the minute. Zac Guthrie has been terrible and Thurlow has been terrible for two years. The cupboard must be completely empty.

Not to mention Parsons
Any more injuries and you may have to get the boots out for a run

No it's all negative as usual.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how he goes.
I reckon the fans might be pleasantly suprised, and pleased, we picked Crameri up. The man has genuine speed and hits the ball hard. Looking forward to seeing how he goes.

Love the optimism.
I Can't ignore
our outs-
Menzel,
GAJ, Parfitt,
Taylor, Hendo,

and the apparent malaise afflicting Danger and Selwood.

and the inexperience

but overall, this is a must win game, and that must get us over the line this week. Any game a fresh SS plays in is one that inspires confidence. I really rate him as our barometer. (no pressure pun intended)

Harsh on Selwood? Tagged all day and still close to our best.
That's how good he is, but went missing when we needed him most.
The captain must stand up when the opposition captain is making a game-changing charge.
