How can anyone in their right mind justify playing Jamie Macmillan, Shaun Atley, Aaron Hall over Jared Polec?!?!

Maybe their future is already decided.... so they just plod along until the end of the ssn

Hall has been playing ok in my eyes so he exempt from above

Polec is still part of the future so he is bothering getting a pt across maybe

They've both been like the vast majority of the side all year mate; below average.

People can see it as tanking, resting, managing the list,.....whatever. None of that is inherently wrong either, btw.

But the fact of the matter is, as a side we've been sh*t and it usually stems from the top.

What better year to instill a new set of standards than the trainwreck that is the 2020 competition? A new standard that shows everybody is accountable regardless of seniority.

If that's the goal, then I'm ok with that.
If that IS the goal, I’m ok with it too

Would all come down to doing or not doing what you are instructed by the coach I'd reckon
Could be as simple as I want you to actually speak to your team mates, and he just can't be bothered. Purely just taking the big $$$$$

I think it's expecting too much for Maj to come in, play full forward, and kick goals, for his first game back in nearly 2 years. Should ease him in down back behind the ball.

Noticed significant friction between Shaw and Polec in exchanges.

I think far more is at play here than just his output.
You would have to think so given he got 4 coaches association votes last week and a heap of the ball + contested possessions.

The Ben Brown dropping is also baffling. Larkey's played one game and is Daw going to be switched forward after having played back and had 1 1/2 years out of the game? Playing Ade is the perfect chance for Brown to get form and if he is poor then drop him next week. Give him a chance vs very weak opposition to find form.

I get sending a message but the timing seems bizarre.

Intersting changes.
Polec must have higher standards set on him than 50% of our team.
He was good against the Blues, with the exception on the 1st qtr where he was asked to take the biggest mid going around.

I would have dropped at least 10 others before him.

Brown has been very ordinary so not really surprised there.
Only issue is where do they go to try and get their form back? Playing kick to kick in the hotel hallway?

Hands off our spoon! Dropping Polec seems like a dash for Pick 1.
Nah you can keep the spoon
Second last is fine
But there are some shitkicker teams like freo who might take that second last spot who have also only won 2 games like us
